It doesn't matter where you come from. When you get to Amarillo, you're gonna feel like you're at home and there's so much to do. You're gonna get here and you're gonna love the life that is offered to you.
There's shopping. There's all the restaurants, there's outdoor hiking in Powder Canyon. Travel-- I mean, you can take quick weekend trips, inany direction-- Denver, Dallas, Oklahoma City, Albuquerque. So when you get here, I mean, you're gonna have plenty to do.
Amarillo is a great place to be because it's small enough to not be a big giant city where you're always dealing with traffic, you're always in a line. But it's big enough that it's got everything you would want. It's got all the cool stuff downtown. It's got all the cool stuff to shop at the mall and all the different places you might want to go.
And you've got the restaurants. We've got a lot of different museums throughout the city, not just downtown, not just in certain parts of the community. We've also got a lot of great places for orchestra and plays and symphony and other things like that. So it's a great place to enjoy cultural pursuits.
So Amarillo is actually booming in the culinary field right now we have it's called, "The Drunken Oyster," so if you like seafood that's the place to be. We also have Cajun barbecue. We have one of the top-rated barbecue joints in Texas called, "Tyler's." Anything you can choose from like Italian, Chinese, it's all good here in Amarillo.
But there's also plenty of things to do as well. You can zipline through a canyon. You can go visit our amusement park. We have a city called Canyon right down the road where you can go watch some good football games if you wanted to. But there's limitless possibilities.
