At Amarillo College, you're gonna find a diverse array of things that you can get involved in, whether you're right out of high school, whether you're a returning student, whether you're a parent, you've got kids, maybe you're a grandparent coming back to college, we have got something that will be of interest to you in our Student Life area.
The Success Centers are welcoming and friendly and accommodating to every student fresh out of high school, or if you've been out of school for 20 years, and you just want to revamp your study skills. So we have on the Washington Street Campus, an Academic Success Center specifically for science, math, and writing.
Then we also have the West Campus that caters to the Health Science students so nursing and allied health courses. East Campus, which is our technical education courses. We have an Academic Success Center at our Hereford Campus and our Dumas Campus as well.
In addition to tutoring, Amarillo College offers excellent facilities, including our library and state-of-the-art labs across our campuses. So the Underground is located in the Ware Student Commons in the basement. There's a lot of study groups, students meet there for study sessions, individual study time, we have computers and resources available to help you every step of the way.
No matter what your need may be, if you're struggling with any aspect of your life, whether it's personal, interpersonal, whether it's academics, what we want to do so that you have a place to come to get the help you need and help you get through whatever the circumstance is.
The Career Services experience on our campus helps the students choose a major-- choose a program that they want to go into, that would be a good fit for what they're wanting to do occupationally, and what we do is help them find a job. So it's pretty important. What we're after is the employment piece of this-- finding something that's a great fit for you.
